  • Chris Pappas (Tenor Sax): A 20-year veteran of the Melbourne jazz, soul, and R&B scenes, Chris has performed at the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Falls Festival, and Meredith Music Festival. He leads Downtown Jazz and SHOL, and is a staple at top jazz hubs like Bennett’s Lane, Paris Cat, Uptown Jazz Club, and Open Studio.

  • Nashua Lee (Guitar): Southern Cross University alumnus and 2007 Wangaratta National Jazz Guitar Award finalist. Nashua has toured Australia extensively, leading acts like Rabid Hawk and Twelve Tone Diamonds, earning critical praise from The Age for his “resonant, iridescent waves” of electric guitar work.

  • Charlie Rank (Double Bass): VCA Jazz & Improvisation graduate and recipient of the 2019 Marion Thomas Award. A highly gifted double and electric bassist who provides the sleek, rock-solid harmonic foundation for the trio.
